Description:

NIKE, Inc. is seeking a highly collaborative and skilled Software Engineer II to join their Global Technology organization focused on internal product creation tools. In this role, you will work with a team of engineers, product managers, and principal engineers to deliver state-of-the-art tooling for Nike’s Consumer Product & Innovation community.

The role involves building modular, configurable, “API-First” capabilities consumed by modern web apps built on the latest SPA frameworks. Candidates will have experience with cloud-native software engineering, modern DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and front-end technologies. This role supports Nike’s commitment to innovation, diversity, and pushing boundaries in technology and product development.

Key Technical Skills:

Node.js, Python or similar languages, AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, S3), CI/CD tools, cloud architecture, modern testing frameworks (Mocha, Jasmine, Jest), HTML5, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, Vue.js, React, Redux, microservices, REST web services, AI and Machine Learning integration (preferred)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• At least 2 years of relevant software development experience
• Experience with cloud architecture, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code
• Proficiency in front-end frameworks and modern testing methodologies
• Strong understanding of architectural design patterns and computer science fundamentals
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience or interest in integrating AI and Machine Learning solutions is a plus
